If you have XBOX 360, try and get your mom to get you Magic: The gathering Duels of the planeswalkers. It's an Xbox arcade game, and it costs 8 bucks. It's a nice intro to the strategy card game i play. I think you might like it.
Oh, and check out my response to your comment on my blog for another fun thing to occupy your summer with.

I used to love chess, until the kids were about 6, i haven't been able to beet them since then, now i make alot of excuses not to play lol!!!!
I also enjoy a game of chess once in awhile. I have not played in some time so you would probably kick my butt. My son Kevin has a Japanese Chess game called Shogi. If you think chess is hard, you should look at Shogi. The pieces all look the same except they have symbols on them. Oh and both players are the same color! You have to look at which way the pieces face. When you get to the other side of the board the piece gets "upgraded" to something else.
